Green Beans Side Dish

Lemon Roasted Green Beans

This side dish is super fast to put together (especially is you take a little help from the store and buy an already washed and trimmed bag of green beans!).  It’s five simple ingredients (which you more than likely already have in your house).  All you have to do is roast the green beans with some EVOO and some s&p, which brings out a great, almost nutty flavor..  Then, just finish the dish with a little fresh lemon juice to brighten it up.  So simple and delicious!

Start by preheating your oven to 350°…

  • Place the green beans in a large bowl.

  • Season with some salt and pepper.

  • Drizzle EVOO onto the beans.

  • Mix everything up and place the green beans onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake, shaking the sheet once or twice, until golden brown, about 10 minutes.

  • Remove from oven and squeeze just a little lemon juice on top.

That’s it!  Enjoy!
