I’m deeply impressed by your level of passion/dedication. Not only for teaching math and your unique style of using interactive notebooks, but also that, you document your culinary endeavors in a format that sparks inspiration. I have a ‘want’ to teach mathematics/science and document cooking in vlog formats but have such a difficult time recognizing the “best” path. This sounds ominous, but A.) How did you get started? B.)what works best in regards to managing your passions as a lifestyle?

Thank you so much for the kind words!  My cooking blog started first.  When I was a newlywed 4 years ago, I began just taking a picture of dinner before I served it.  After taking pictures for 1½ years, I created cookbookmeals.com.  Originally, I just posted my thoughts about the recipe and a picture.  Over time, the blog organically evolved into the step-by-step picture guide that it is now.

I started my other blog last year after being inspired by others (mainly about interactive notebooking).  Unfortunately, I had a hard time keeping up with this blog in addition to cookbookmeals during the school year last year.  I’m hoping to make more time for it this year.  Time management is hard sometimes, especially when you are passionate about many things.  The most important thing I think is to not beat yourself up if you don’t get to something.  When you can, just pick up where you left off!

Good luck to you in your future endeavors!!
