Parmesan Roasted Green Beans

August 28, 2013 by Katie Leave a Comment

I *love* this side dish, even more than my pretty popular Lemon Roasted Green Beans!  If you’re a fan of those, your should definitely give these a try.  They are just as quick and easy and flavorful.  The cheese adds a nice nutty flavor (from being roasted in the oven).  I found this recipe online, and pretty much kept it the same.  It didn’t need any alterations.  Serve it with some chicken (like my Slow Cooker Pesto Chicken) and you’re set!

  • Preheat your oven to 400°.
  • Place one 12 ounce bag of green beans a bowl.

  • Add some EVOO.

  • Season generously with s&p.

  • Mix well to coat all the beans.

  • Spread the beans out on a baking sheet.

  • Sprinkle a good amount of grated Parmesan on top of the beans.  (Make it snow!)

  • Bake for 15 minutes.

Place back in the bowl and enjoy!
